Research-study contracts
Version 0.1.0 provides four strict JSON Schema 2020-12 contracts:
interview-record.schema.json— one deidentified interview session, with recruitment, cohort eligibility, consent, instrument/session, source artifacts, coding, quality, lifecycle, and data controls;study-register.schema.json— append-only study state, requestor-reported claims, intake status, counts, gates, blockers, and approvals; andstudy-evidence-manifest.schema.json— metadata-only ledger for the commission, collectors, recruitment, instrument, ethics/consent, record inventory, coding/analysis, and data availability; andaggregate-claim-receipt.schema.json— the frozen receipt that holds or authorizes exact public research wording.
These schemas separate structural validity from substantive eligibility. A valid interview record can still be excluded. A valid held receipt is not publishable. The semantic invariants in tests/research-study-contracts.test.mjs enforce state transitions, count reconciliation, required approvals, and fail-closed publication behavior.
Direct identifiers and real transcripts are prohibited from this directory and the public repository. Fixtures are synthetic or explicitly unverified control records.
Run the focused contract checks from the repository root:
node --test fde-benchmark/SCHEMAS/research-study/tests/research-study-contracts.test.mjs
The method and claim rules are documented in:
